Oberoi International School has an independent College Counseling department comprising two Counselors - Ms. Ulka Adivrekar and Ms. Tiffany Goulet. Together, they help guide and prepare students for life after grade 12.
From providing guidance for higher education - internationally or within India; to career and course options after grade 12 to application processes, admission requirements and supporting the students with documentation from OIS.
Group sessions and workshops are conducted throughout the year for high school students. Furthermore, individual one on one weekly meetings take place with IB students to plan out their future path.
Throughout the year, the department organizes visits from Universities internationally as well as domestically, where students are given opportunities to get to know more about each university, network with their representatives as well as get answers to any questions that they may have, giving them the access and exposure to choices available world over. Interactive sessions with parents are also conducted through the year.
The department periodically conducts sessions for various grades, catering to the requirements and planning needed at each grade level (grade 9 to grade 12) introducing them and leading them to the process of college applications.
Alumni of OIS have been placed at Universities and Colleges all over the world, to countries including United States of America, United Kingdom, Europe, Asia, Australia and India.
